Last Updated: January 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to Darkframe AI, a product of Monolith Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and services (collectively, the "Services") to generate images and videos.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not access or use our Services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in various ways, including:
- Personal Data Provided by You: When you register for an account, we collect personal information associated with your user account, such as your name, email address, and user ID.
- Prompts and Generated Content: We collect the text prompts you provide to generate images and videos. We also process the images and videos generated through third-party services like Replicate. Metadata about these generations (e.g., prompt, model used, creation time, duration for videos) is stored in our database. The generated images and videos may be stored temporarily by the generation service and are subsequently stored in our Storage. Important: We do not permit uploading images of real people, celebrities, or yourself. Only AI-generated images are allowed. Uploaded images are subject to automated and manual moderation to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
- Usage Data: We may automatically collect certain information when you access and use the Services, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service. This helps us understand how our Services are used and improve them.
- Log Data: For debugging, monitoring, and security purposes, our systems generate logs. These logs may include information such as your user ID, the prompts you submit, metadata about generated images/videos, API request/response details, IP addresses, timestamps, and actions taken within the application. This log data is processed and stored using third-party services.
Note: We do not attempt to fetch or permanently store content directly from temporary third party URLs after their short expiration period. We rely on storing generated content within our infrastructure.
